The front (top photo) and the back of a Japanese Government Five Yen.  Notice on the back it states "ISSUED PURSUANT TO MILITARY PROCLAMATION"   Courtesy of Robert Macomber
Photos to the left are WWII issued 1000 Pesos and a 10 Pesos Japanese  currency for use in the Philippine Islands.  The bank where these were found was in a town on the northern shore of Laguna da Bay.  As a result of the bank being shelled, the vault was blown open and Japanese invasion money was everywhere.
